Study of Nasdaq 100 and Fortune 500 leaders across ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity marks the launch of Lilypath’s Authority Intelligence™ platform
NEW YORK, CA, UNITED STATES, October 27, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Lilypath, Inc. today announced the official launch of its patent-pending Authority Intelligence™ platform, designed to analyze, monitor and strengthen how generative AI engines perceive and describe corporate leaders and professionals. The launch coincides with groundbreaking research from Lilypath revealing critical inaccuracies in how AI handles top executives, including finding that three in four CEOs in their first year receive inaccurate or confused descriptions across major platforms.
As generative AI increasingly replaces traditional search, automated answers directly shape executive reputation, executive hiring, venture funding, board appointments and public trust. To quantify the scale of the issue, Lilypath analyzed the digital presence of the world’s most documented leaders: the CEOs of the Nasdaq 100, and the CEOs of the 50 largest male-led and 50 largest female-led Fortune 500 companies.
Key Findings from Lilypath’s Research:
• Women CEOs are defined by their gender. Men never are. Across 1,800 AI answers about the Fortune 500’s 50 highest-ranked women CEOs, 43% reference their gender, compared with 2% of nearly 1,800 answers about the 50 highest-ranked men. The gender framing intensifies around questions of reputation and leadership, appearing in 61% of responses about what women CEOs are best known for, 76% about whether they’re among the most respected CEOs, and 90% about what they stand for.
• New CEOs are the ones AI gets wrong. While AI engines recognized Nasdaq 100 CEOs 96% of the time, 75% of CEOs in their first year received inaccurate or confused descriptions compared to just 19% of seasoned CEOs. Those who need an accurate record the most are four times more likely to have a flawed profile.
• AI still names the old CEO. For roughly 20% of Fortune 500 CEOs studied, AI models named their predecessor as the current chief executive. On the Nasdaq 100 list, one leading AI engine cited the wrong CEO half the time.
• Visibility doesn’t equal accuracy. CEOs of the 10 largest Nasdaq companies were cited as industry leaders in 82% of answers; compared to just 38% for CEOs near the bottom of the list – though accuracy rates remained identical regardless of company size.
“Most professionals have never asked an AI system who it thinks they are, and when they do, the answer is often a surprise,” said Erin Lanuti, co-founder and CEO of Lilypath. “The industry has focused heavily on brands when professionals are equally at risk. Inaccurate or incomplete AI answers result in ‘invisible opportunity lost’ – costing leaders clients, board seats and credibility. Lilypath was built to show executives and their teams how AI interprets them, where it gets it wrong, and how to fix it.”
Introducing The Authority Intelligence™ Suite
Lilypath offers three scalable solutions to help professionals and enterprises audit and manage their AI footprint:
• Authority Snapshot (free): A free, instant diagnostic tool at lilypath.com, no account required. Snapshot queries four major engines up to twelve questions, evaluates the answers against six metrics and delivers a 100-point Authority Score alongside 3-5 immediate recommended actions.
• Authority 360: Continuous bi-weekly monitoring for individual leaders, founders and small-business owners. Tracks performance across AI engines and Google AI Overviews, alerts users to critical content shifts, allows custom prompt tracking and includes Lilypath’s proprietary Blueprint™ for LinkedIn optimization.
• Authority Graph: An enterprise platform built for agency teams and corporate communications departments. Authority Graph audits the entire leadership team against a client-controlled Source of Truth, measures visibility across a five-dimension score, and tracks the citations driving AI outputs.
Methodology
The research comprised two independent studies conducted on the Authority Graph platform in late September 2026, analyzing 102 Nasdaq 100 CEOs (7,112 answers, 67,208 citations) and 100 Fortune 500 CEOs across 14 standardized prompts. Full research data and methodology are available upon request.
